That was one incredible movie! It lived up to all the hype and more. Joker was definitely amazing. I disagree that batman was 'flat' or 'boring' rather I think the writing and acting did a good job at doing a contrast between the 2 characters. And harvey dent...cool.

This movie makes the tim burton batman look like the 60's tv show.

Blast! After careful consideration, I settled on a computer to get. Then when I look it up to purchase it, I suddenly find out that there's a rebate that expires tomorrow, and it's 26% cheaper than I was expecting to spend.

...naturally, it's out of stock now. :P

I'm not dating anymore. Ever.

Think of it this way...no dating =
1. No sex! Therefore, no STDs to worry about. Or pregnancy...not that I could probably get pregnant anyway.
2. Saves on gas and money! No need to drive to expensive dates.
3. No need to pretend to want to see a movie because they want to (like um, let's see...oh, Batman).
4. No more feeling butterflies in my stomach, and feeling light headed when they kiss me. Good, so no more feeling like I'm high when around guys.
5. Most importantly, NO MORE CRYING OVER GUYS!

Unfortunately this also means:
1. I've lost my interest in comics again.
2. Lost my interest in comic movies again.
3. So I'm always 3rd wheel now...who the fuck cares.
4. No romantic stuff anymore. Oh well...I guess no big loss there, right?

And whoever said you can get over someone easily was SO fucking wrong.

The amusing thing about Contempt this weekend was that the place was dead until 12:30am. Then the Doctor Who song came on. Instantaneously, the dance floor was packed.

so i'm just transferring to SBU, and i was curious, when do tryouts for sports begin? i was on the athletics website and i found the forms needed to fill out and to send, but the cheerleading website is still full of info for the 07-08 semester.

I'm still not fully happy though.

Edit at 4:21pm: I start Sunday from 10A to 2P!! Can't wait! Because of my knowledge in crafts, I'm being cross trained for cashier AND framing! Whoo!!

I'm going to be going to Contempt tonight, so I'll be in the city. If anybody happens to be scheduled out there tonight, gimme a poke and we'll get some grub together. :)

Gah, this hurts... I cannot believe this is happening... I don't even think i did anything wrong! I asked her if she was mad at me for some reason and she said she isn't! I'm so confused... what is going on?

Her twin says i'm not the only one, that she's been distant with most people who care for her... but... she hasn't been ignoring their facebook posts and texts! she simply hasnt been hanging with them in person!

i have collision and the claims guy said it looks like the other person will be at fault.
i have a 30 dollar a day for 33 days rental coverage and enterprise is coming to get me to see what they can hook me up with.
i dont know if im allowed to drive it 430 miles away tho

so last week or so i put about 600 into fixing my car for pennsic, tire rotors pads battery oilchange what have you.
bit more expensive than i would have liked rite before war but what you gonna do
so today i am driving to lunch and a woman stops her can infront of me. i stop and avoid hitting her and am then promptly hit from behind and the woman in front of me speeds away. im fine
the other driver is fine.
my car is totaled
hopefully insurance will cover what i need to get to war but i may need help with stuff.

Ж-Men...but not the ones you might expect!
This week LJ Russia launched Ж-Men, a new comedy series about superheroes, inspired by the LJ communities dedicated to superheros, comics and cartoons. The title's "Ж" comes from ЖЖ, the nickname for LiveJournal in Russia.

Ж-Men's script is written by a group of LJ enthusiasts who also happen to be television professionals. Who knew? Following the premiere, five more episodes will be broadcast over the next two weeks. We hope you find the series fresh and enjoyable.

This is, of course, an experiment for LiveJournal. As always, we'd love to hear what you think!
